MERTHYR TYDFIL GOLF CLUB
A wonderful Welsh mountain-top course with some truly outstanding views from every hole. Merthyr Tydfil Golf Club was established in 1908 and today offers a challenging 18-hole course with stunning views across the Brecon Beacons. With some of the fairways set at over 1,000 feet above sea level, this 5,652-yard par-69 course is ideal for golfers of all levels.

MORLAIS CASTLE GOLF CLUB, MERTHYR TYDFIL
Built in 1270 by Gilbert de Clare, Earl of Gloucester and Lord of Glamorgan, the remains of what once was Morlais Castle, runs along the right-hand side of the third fairway and overlooks the border between Brecon and Glamorgan. A challenging moorland course set in the surroundings of the foothills of the Brecon Beacons with some magnificent scenic views. The course is one of two halves; the first nine holes are built around the old quarry, while the back nine are set on rolling moorland.

Since being founded in 1922, Whitehall Golf Club has established itself as one of the finest and most popular courses in south Wales. A hilltop course nestled between the Rhymney and Cynon Valleys offers a genuine test of golf coupled with a friendly and relaxed clubhouse atmosphere.
