ABERDARE GOLF CLUB
Founded in 1921 as a parkland course at Abernant, about a mile from Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taf, this is an 18-hole course famed for its mature oak trees.

LLANTRISANT & PONTYCLUN GOLF CLUB
A parkland course lined with mature trees and bounded by the river Ely at its northern edge. A little over 5,300 yards, you are presented with an enjoyable challenge for all levels of golfer. Golf was first played locally on Llantrisant Common by permission of the Llantrisant Trust and Freemen in 1923. Further land was developed in the late 1990s so creating the current layout, a challenging 18-hole course with undulating fairways and small greens. The views from the course are spectacular and there is plenty of wildlife to take in on your way around.

MOUNTAIN ASH GOLF CLUB
Nestles on top of Cefnpennar mountain with breathtaking views to the north as far as the Brecon Beacons and stunning views of the surrounding Cynon Valley.

PONTYPRIDD GOLF CLUB
Founded in 1905 and over 100 years old, Pontypridd Golf Course has an undulating 18-hole parkland layout overlooking the town and Taff Valley. Lying between the Bristol Channel at Cardiff and the foot of the Rhondda Valleys in a beautiful part of Wales, it affords wonderful natural vistas where buzzards can be seen hovering over fairways. The home of Ryder Cup hero Phillip Price, who honed his talents at Pontypridd, it offers many different aspects of a golf challenge.

RHONDDA GOLF CLUB
Combines the wonderful wildness of the area with a challenging golf course and stunning views. Situated 1,000 feet above sea level, golfers play across the tops of the mountains, high above the winding rows of miners’ cottages. This 18-hole, 6,000-yard, par 70 course has spectacular panoramic views as far as the Bristol Channel. Rhondda Golf Club is within easy reach of The Celtic Manor Resort, home of the 2010 Ryder Cup, and championship courses including Royal Porthcawl, Pyle and Kenfig and Southerndown.
