CAERLEON GOLF CLUB
The first municipal golf course in Wales when it opened in 1976. Golfing facilities include a nine-hole course and a nine-hole par-three course, which was built with a Ryder Cup Legacy Grant from the Welsh Government to encourage beginners to take up the game. A Footgolf course runs alongside the par-three course to offer another fun activity to visitors. The Celtic Manor Resort has taken over the running of Caerleon Golf Club on a 25-year lease from Newport City Council, which continues to own the facility.

LLANWERN GOLF CLUB
An 18-hole, par 70, 6,177-yard course, offering a challenge for all abilities and one of Peter Allis’s top three hidden gems in the UK. Established in 1928, it is a mature parkland course well known for the quality of its greens. Has hosted numerous PGA professional events, international matches and both national and county competitions. Facilities include a 250-yard grass practice area, two practice greens, a specialist short game area and one of the UK’s leading indoor facilities utilising Trackman 4 technology.

NEWPORT GOLF CLUB
Founded in 1903, Newport Golf Club is regarded as one of the best parkland courses in south Wales, located 300 feet above sea level, amongst the birch, beech and oak trees of the ancient Llwyni Wood. The topography of the course is gently undulating with lush fairways and strategic bunkers ensuring that the far-reaching views of the countryside and the Bristol Channel are enjoyed. The Club has successfully hosted a number of major men’s and ladies’ Welsh and national amateur events over the years, offering a beautiful, yet challenging course to golfers of all capabilities.
