Major Running & Cycling Events
- Cardiff Half Marathon (October 4, 2026): Wales’ largest multi-charity fundraising event, taking in iconic Cardiff landmarks. Multiple charities are recruiting, including Cancer Research Wales, NSPCC, and Kidney Wales.
- Big Welsh Bike Ride (July 24–26, 2026): A multi-day cycling event supporting Tŷ Hafan children’s hospice.
- Great Welsh Marathon & Half (April/May 2026): Held at Pembrey Country Park, Carmarthenshire, supporting Cancer Research Wales.
- Barry Island 10K (May 17, 2026): A popular coastal run with charity places available.
- Snowdonia Trail Marathon Eryri (2026): Mountain running in Llanberis.
- St David’s Day Run (March 1, 2026): A charity run marking the national day.

- Gower Peninsula Trek (July 18–19, 2026): A coastal trekking challenge for Sarcoma UK.
- Snowdon Yr Wyddfa Sunrise Hike: A night hike to the summit of Snowdon for charity.
- Big Hike | Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog): Hiking challenges along the Taff Trail.
- 24hr Sunshine Squats (January 31, 2026): A 24-hour endurance challenge in Laugharne for Dogs4Wildlife.
